iNaturalist Scavenger Hunt

Assemble a team of 2 to 5 and join us at Blockhouse Bay Rec. Reserve (36 Rathlin St. Blockhouse Bay) for some friendly competition. Race against other teams - and the clock! - to make the most scientific observations. A great thing to do with the whole family or a group of friends. Your team will need to find as many different plant species as possible and upload them to the iNaturalist app, but you only have an hour to do it! New to iNaturalist? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you all you need to know. It’s easy to learn. What to bring: A mobile device with a camera and access to mobile data; suitable outdoor footwear and clothing; and any drinks and snacks you might want. Children need to be supervised.
