Interested in Joining the Friends of the Whau?
It's FREE
The Friends of the Whau is all about taking some time out with like minded people in your community, getting to know your neighbours while improving the environment in your neighbourhood.
Are you a person who would like to help in some small way, who is keen to associate with similar like-minded people, yet may not have a lot of time available.
Then contact us, or simply turn up to one of our events or contact our main office on 09 627 3372 or email info@whauriver.org.nz.
Friends of the Whau are working together for healthier streams and river through community participation and kaitiakitanga.
If this sounds like you, we would love to have you on board.
Being a regular Friend of the Whau is fun and constructive. We organise numerous local activities to improve the environment in your community so we invite you to join us as a regular supporter or as an occasional volunteer and find out for yourself what programs we run and how WRCT is committed to the ecological restoration of the Whau River catchment.
We look forward to seeing you soon at our next event.
